We’re Fabio de Bruijn and Johanna Abraham. We dance salsa and bachata in Rotterdam, and we build Dansly.
From the dance floor we saw how much manual work sits behind every class. Fill-ins are found in a WhatsApp group, a missed course week goes by email, and dancers book in apps that weren’t made for partner dance.
Dansly takes that work over. When a class is short of a role, it asks the dancers who fit, by rules you set once. Dancers catch up a missed week themselves, and newcomers only book where their side has room. Booking, credits, courses and payments come with it.
We build it together with the first schools. What they need is what we build next, and they email us directly.
Everything works: booking, credits, courses, payments and fill-ins. We call it beta because no school has run a full term on it yet. The first 5 schools get a founding place: a lower price for their first year, a direct line to us, and a say in what we build next.
